Richard Propper
My name is Richard. I’ve led three companies in the television industry: an international distribution company that licensed more than 1500 titles around the world (from HBO to the BBC to NHK), a non-profit cinema arts organization with 1600 members, and founded an annual conference that provided content executives with 3 days of business opportunities and screenings. I formed relationships with broadcasters, producers, boards of trustees, and boards of directors. I ran sales, marketing, and operations for all of it. I love working to build and nurture teams, assemble a collaborative vision, and deliver. Outside of work, I’ve hiked Half-Dome in Yosemite and the Pathway of the Gods on the Amalfi Coast, am writing a novel about a hidden treasure in Beirut, and restore classic cars. I’ve explored four continents and endeavor to see the other three.
