Santina Rocca
Santina Rocca is a senior executive and advisor with international experience in financial oversight, audit public policy and stakeholder communication. She has expertise in risk management, internal controls, auditing and corporate governance and has been a frequent speaker on matters related to audit regulation.
Santina earned her Honors Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University in Ottawa,Canada and M.B.A. (Luxury Brand Management) from ESSEC Business School in Paris, France. She is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant (California).
She previously served as the Deputy Director leading the Office of the Director in the Division of Registration and Inspections at the PCAOB. In that role, she advised the Director on matters related to audit regulatory policy, coordinated various Division initiatives and led a team of professionals analyzing and communicating audit inspection results. Before being named to the post, she served as an Associate Director in the PCAOB's National Office working primarily with the international firm inspection program.
Prior to joining the PCAOB, she worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco and Hong Kong providing auditing services to public and private companies. In Hong Kong, she led the technical professional department and advised partners and staff on auditing, accounting and related policy matters. Earlier, she worked as a manager developing accounting standards at CPA Canada (Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants). She began her auditing career with Ernst & Young Canada (formerly Clarkson Gordon).
